Here are again some questions and guidance from Walter to consider as you read through this weeks chapters.

How to deal with a neighbour’s animal astray or in trouble.
    2. 23:10-19 is in regards to special years and days.
What was to happen every seventh year? Every seventh day?
All males were to appear each year for what special festivals?

given, and how long was Moses there?
    6. 25 – 40 – The rest of Exodus is taken up primarily with the plans for and construction of the tabernacle (tent of meeting) in the wilderness.

What will this tabernacle be in respect to God; and the people?

    8. Note the careful instructions for (1) the ark of the covenant and its special lid,
    (2) the table for the bread of the Presence, and (5) the lamp stand of pure gold.
    9. 26:1-37 – The tent itself. Note in vss 31-35 there are two parts (rooms) to the tent,
separated by a curtain, designated the place and the place.
Note what is to be placed in the inner room and what is mentioned in the outer
    room.
    10. 28:1-43 – Who are to serve as priests in the tabernacle? Note the special clothing for them.
    11. 29:1-46 – At the ordination of the priests what offerings were made and what was done with
blood and anointing oil re the priests?

    13. 32:1-35 – The covenant made with the Lord was broken in what way? Who failed to control the people and what explanation did he give? What was the reaction of Moses? What people stood on the Lord’s side and what would be their reward? Who interceded for the people and what was the Lord’s stated judgment?
    14. 34:1-35 – What was done when Moses once more went upon the mountain? What strange thing happened when Moses came down from the mountain?
    15. 35:1 to 39:31 – The actual building of the tabernacle. What was the source of the materials? Who did the work? What two men with special skills led in the work?
